Skinfood Deep Sea Water Multi Toner Brightening Review

This toner looks like a bottle of drinking water. I'm afraid it might not be any more effective for your skin than just water.

"A hydrating toner infused with deep sea water to bring brightness and life back to your skin. It contains a myriad of minerals that help purify to give the skin a clean and clear look. Infused with deep sea water, this multi toner also has a cooling effect."
Size: 300 mL

Price: ~$12

Scent: Oceanic floral. It smells pleasant, but it is strong.

Texture: Just like water.
Water, Glycerin, Sea Water, PPG-26 Buiteth-26, PEG-40, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Capryly Glycol, Hamameis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Maackia Fauriei Stem Extract, Disodium EDTA, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder, Sodium Citrate, Phenoxyethanol, Parfum
I mainly use it as a spray.
To be blunt, this is just like putting water on your face. It might give it a little boost of hydration, but I much prefer rosewater for that. For a facial spray, it is fine, but there are far more out there, that actually come with sprayers and don't need to be decanted into a separate bottle.
As a toner, this does nothing. It is mildly hydrating, but it doesn't provide any benefits that I can see. It certainly doesn't work as an astringent toner and the witch hazel is pretty low on the list. I basically gave up on using it as a toner, especially after moving on to Missha the First Treatment Essence and Hada Labo. I wouldn't buy this again, and given its size, I probably would never need to.
I bought mine from RoseRoseShop
