I was into this scent after reading the name. I've been obsessed with Greek Mythology after reading Jason and the Golden Fleece back in fourth grade. So this scent appealed to the fourth grade nerd still inside of me.
The scent turns out not to be one I usually choose. I like fruity scents, which this does have in the form of the pomegranate. It smells nice and sweet initially, but it is tempered by the musk, narcissus and amber. Those scents mellow it out so it smells much more grown up. The pomegranate keeps it from veering too far into that sophisticated arena, so it is still bright from the fruity smells. When I wear this, I like to pair it with Tom Ford Black Orchid. They smell nice together because they both have that sophisticated scent quality from the amber and musk. I think this scent is perfect for night time or for the fall/winter months.
Overall, I found this scent to be pretty consistent across all mediums, and all of the mediums have pretty good staying power.
