This is the second type of emulsion I have tried and my first from Skinfood. Skinfood has great marketing techniques because all of their products look cute and sound yummy. They really sell themselves. However, their products' performance have been hit or miss for me.
This product has some definite pluses. I really like the texture and how thin and watery it is. It absorbs into my skin quickly and is not sticky or tacky. I think it provides enough moisture for my skin type, but I can see it not being very moisturizing for drier skin types. I also think it performs well at keeping skin clear and trouble free. It doesn't irritate my skin, and along with other products in my routine, seems to be contributing to keeping skin breakouts away.
I'm not keen on the bottle or the smell. The bottle is a heavy glass bottle without a pump. The product is liquid enough that it comes out easy, but it comes out really quickly and I can easily dispense too much. It is also not travel friendly. The scent is pretty strong and I'm not a fan of baby powder smells.
Overall, I like this emulsion, but it isn't a star in my routine. Much like The Face Shop Rice Ceramide Moisture Emulsion, I like it, but I don't love it. I will be trying other emulsions in the future.
I bought mine from RoseRoseShop
