Scent: This has a strong scent. It smells like coconut mixed with a powdery floral smell. It is not unpleasant, but it is very strong and lingers. If you are sensitive to scents, definitely avoid.
Texture: This stuff is so stringy. It is very runny and sticky. It is hard to get from the container to your face without having these long strings coming off of it.
I apply this as a sleeping pack, the last step in my routine before I go to sleep. It leaves some residue that I wash off in the morning with water.
I cannot find an ingredient list for this product. I have the ingredients from the jar. I took a picture and ran it through the Google Translate App. It is certainly not a perfect translation but it gives some idea of the ingredients.
It says the first three ingredients are: Purified Water, Ethanol(probably ethylene glycol) and Butylene Glycol. So this seems like you're typical sleeping pack mix. It looks like it contains niacinamide, as well as safflower seed oil and aloe.
An ad for the product claims it contains Donkey Milk, Vitamin E, Aloe, Safflower Seed Oil, Allantoin, Niacinamide, Proteins and Amino Acids. It what concentration, I have no idea. If you're able to translate some of these ingredients, please leave a comment!
This product is utterly strange. I have never seen a product so stringy in my life. It makes it really hard to use. The product comes with a brush, in lieu of the typical spatula. The bristles of the brush are really soft and it helps to spread the product on your skin once it is on your face. However getting it on your face is the struggle.
As you can see, this is really stringy, and when you move it, the strings follow. It is very messy to apply. I think it would be easier to scoop it out of the jar to get it onto your face. Thus, the brush is kind of unnecessary.
Once it is applied to the skin, it is slightly tacky after you rub it in. No more tacky than a typical sleeping pack. It is thick and the smell is intense. If you are sensitive to fragrance, you should really avoid this.
However, this product does work really nicely. It is cheap and you get a lot of product for the price. Additionally, it makes my skin really soft and smooth when I wake up. I haven't noticed any benefits besides this; however, my skin has been doing pretty well. I probably wouldn't repurchase this product due to the difficulty of use, but if you are really interested in a unique product containing Donkey Milk that is affordable, try it out.
I purchased this product from Strawberrynet.
Are you still using the product now? Any changes?
ReplyDeleteHey! Sorry about the delayed response. School started again and it has been hectic!
DeleteI still use this product. I don't use it every night and I rotate it with my other sleeping packs. I have not experienced any changes. It is mainly moisturizing, no clear skin improvements that I can attribute to the product itself.
I also purchase this product and the brush was very helpful. I spread the product onto my face with the brush and I did not have a strong fraquence. After 3 hours the sleep in mask was a little spongy at my cheeks but dry every where else. Since I have combination and mature skin ;this product will benefit me in the long run.
